In my public art I strive for a lush, energetic and colourful expression that has an immediate appeal. The material I use is glazed stoneware. It is frost-proof, maintenance-free and extremely durable. The colours do not change over time. They will always look new. My public artworks are either sculptures or tiles.

The sculptures can be placed outdoors or inside and can stand in relation to a floor/ ground or a wall. Some works are also designed to hang from ceilings. These works often have a maritime theme, with forms and colours that recall life in the ocean.

The tile works have been mounted both outdoors and indoors but only on walls. Tile- based public art offers many possibilities for colours, patterns, structures and motifs. Glued to a wall, they are as durable as a tiled bathroom wall.
